Truro City came from a goal down to win 3-1 at Maidenhead on Tuesday night.

Tom Brooks' own goal gave Maidenhead the lead after 19 minutes but a second-half fightback from the White Tigers saved his blushes.

Scott Walker equalised from the penalty spot on 63 minutes, before Barry Hayles netted the second and Les Afful last-minute strike sealed the win.

"I'm very pleased, especially coming off Saturday's defeat at home," manager Lee Hodges told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"It was a strange sort of game because there were three sendings off, a penalty and a lot of bookings, but I don't remember a bad tackle all night."

Truro's away form is better than their home form, having lost their last three games at Treyew Road.

"I find that a little bit strange, because when I first joined the club in my first season, our away from was better than the home form," Hodges added

"Last year, we made Treyew Road into a fortress and only lost two at home. This year we've lost three-in-a-row and I can't quite put my finger on it."
