Harrogate Town are out of the FA Cup after losing their second qualifying round replay 2-1 to Frickley Athletic.

Lee Elam scored first for Harrogate but Will Turl's own goal equalised and Frickley then scored a late winner.

Harrogate manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "I don't know whether it's fear factor or just stupid defending. I haven't made my mind up yet.

"They had just set pieces and they do it well. It's bitterly disappointing that we couldn't defend them."

He continued: "We went 1-0 up and we were the better team in it. We were passing it well and we had some attacking strengths.

"But we stopped being a forward force and dropped off a bit. We allowed them back in and gave anxious free-kicks away.

"They play territorial, we play possession. That's no excuse. People have got to be braver for us.

"They're in on Thursday and we're going to drill it how to defend on set pieces and that's cost us."

Frickely Athletic will travel to Gainsborough Trinity in the third qualifying round.

Harrogate Town's next game is at home to Gainsborough in Blue Square Bet North.
