Harrogate Town have taken two players on loan to help during the injury crisis at the club.

Midfielder Luke Dean, 20 and striker Alex Meechan, 31 will both be at the CNG Stadium for a month.

Dean has joined from Bradford City and Meechan from AFC Telford and both will be available for the game against Gainsborough Trinity.

Manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "They trained last night and added a lot of athleticism to us"

He continued: "They're very dynamic going forward. I felt we needed that injection to our squad with the injuries.

"They're both good characters in the changing room and they really are fit boys.

"We've got to have lads who can get up into the opposition box and be more of an attacking threat.

"We're hoping these two new additions will help and I'm sure they will."

Dean has made one senior appearance for Bradford City this season and has also been on loan with FC Halifax and Hinckley United.

Meechan is a former York City player and has also had spells at Forest Green, Stalybridge and Droylsden.
