Gainsborough Trinity have signed goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov on a month's loan from Nottingham Forest.

The Bulgarian, 18, will be the Blue Square Bet North side's fourth keeper in as many games if he plays against Colwyn Bay on Saturday.

With regular keepers Phil Barnes and Andrew Pettinger both ruled out through injury, manager Steve Housham initially took Grimsby's Kenny Arthur on loan.

But the Scot picked up an injury in the Blues' 1-1 draw at Bishops Stortford, external.

Evtimov has yet to break in to Forest's first team squad but recently had a loan spell at Ilkeston.
