Two Tony Gray goals in the last three minutes saw Southport come from behind to beat bottom-of-the-table Bath.

The game was scoreless until the 76th minute when Lewis Hogg's right-wing cross was met by the head of Sean Canham to give the visitors the lead.

Gray netted the equaliser from 12 yards with three minutes to go and two minutes later scored his 11th of the season from the edge of the area.

Southport go third in the table, five points behind leaders Wrexham.

Southport manager Liam Watson told BBC Radio Merseyside:

Watson never doubted Southport win

"People will say it's a turnaround because we were behind. We shouldn't have been behind and if we had lost it would have been a travesty.

"I said before the game we needed two wins to be safe and we only need one now.

"We're on 38 points, we'll get to 50 points and see where we are, but if we've got 50 points by Christmas, we'll have an unbelievable chance to do something amazing."
