Sheffield Wednesday agree extension of Danny Batth loan

Batth is on loan from Wolves
Defender Danny Batth is to stay with Sheffield Wednesday for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old's loan spell from Wolves was due to end next month, but Wednesday have now agreed an extension.
They want other loanees, Stoke winger Ben Marshall and Newcastle defender James Tavernier, to stay as well.
Club chairman Milan Mandaric told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Our top priority is to keep our loan players and we're working on that."
Mandaric wants to keep loan signings
Goalkeeper Stephen Bywater, 30, completed his three-month loan spell in the 4-4 draw against Huddersfield, but Mandaric hopes he can reach an agreement for him to return.
"We want to keep the solid team together," he said. "It's our job to protect that and keep those players with us and bring other players (in) as well if needed."
Batth, meanwhile, said he was "delighted" to be able to stay at Hillborough and backed them to stay firmly in the promotion picture in the new year.
"I was here at the back end of last season and the first half of this season so I've managed to be around while the team has developed and I think I've played a good part in that, so to extend the deal is something I'm happy about," he added.
"I think there are things we can work on, but we're going well. We're in a good position at the moment in the league and as a group we look like we are getting stronger every day.
"We're keeping everything as consistent as ever in preparation for the Christmas period and just focusing on ourselves and what we're doing to keep our run going."
