Brentford sign Watford's Dale Bennett for second loan spell

Bennett signed a two-year deal at Watford in May

Watford central defender Dale Bennett has joined Brentford on a month's loan for his second spell at the club.

The 21-year-old initially signed for the Bees in October but was injured in training after playing only one game and returned to his parent club.

"Dale was very unfortunate in his first spell with us. He looked really exciting," Brentford boss Uwe Rosler told the club website.

"We kept in touch and he is now fit and back in training."

Bennett, who can also play at right-back, is expected to provide cover for the injured Kevin O'Connor, who is out until February.
