Ebbsfleet midfielder Fakinos has season ended by injury

Ebbsfleet midfielder Giannoulis Fakinos has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The 21-year-old Greek has not played since October and has been told he needs surgery.

Manager Liam Daish said: "He has damage to his cartilage and anterior cruciate ligament and will undergo an operation in the next week or so.

Meanwhile, the club have signed goalkeeper Tom McNeil, 20, on a non-contract basis.
