1710 Highlights of this afternoon's four SPL games will be available on our website from 1800 GMT on Sunday, we've also got Aberdeen v St Johnstone and Hibs v Celtic to look forward to. As always, thanks for your company, texts and tweets during the course of the day. Hope you can join us then, enjoy your Saturday night. Cheers!

1708 Rangers end a turbulent week with a defeat as Kilmarnock secure victory at Ibrox and 10-man Motherwell run riot at home to Hearts. Dunfermline miss the chance to move off the foot of the table, drawing at home to Inverness CT, while Dundee United and St Mirren play out a drab goalless draw.

1705 BBC Scotland's Billy Dodds: "Kilmarnock play this narrow formation and if you sit off them they'll destroy you; that's what happened to Rangers in the first half."

1700 Marneyy via Twitter: "Another missed opportunity at home for the Pars. When will this torture end?"

1658 IainWeir1988 via #bbcsportsound: "Rangers have now dropped 13 points at Ibrox since they last won there. That's relegation form"

1657 FULL-TIME RANGERS 0-1 KILMARNOCK

1655 BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds: "Kilmarnock have missed chances to extend their lead"

1653 We're deep into injury time at Ibrox. Can 10-man Rangers find an equaliser?

1652 FULL-TIME DUNFERMLINE 1-1 INVERNESS CT

1651 FULL-TIME MOTHERWELL 3-0 HEARTS

1650 JW_Davidson via #bbcsportsound: "Can't remember a refereeing performance as scandalous as Iain Brines's today. Unbelievable."

1649 FULL-TIME DUNDEE UTD 0-0 ST MIRREN

1647 Substitute Liam Buchanan squanders a chance to give Dunfermline the lead but fires over the Inverness bar from six yards.

1646 John Rankin spurns a superb chance to be the United hero, but it's a row Z job. Oh dear, looks like a goalless draw at Tannadice...

1645 Henrik Ojamaa may not have scored today but his tireless running and creativity are rewarded with a standing ovation as he substituted at Fir Park.

1644 Michael Higdon spurns a great chance to nab 10-man Motherwell's fourth goal of the afternoon, but I'm sure Stuart McCall will forgive the hitman his mistake with the Steelmen 3-0 up and coasting to victory.

1643 St Mirren have another pop at the United goal, however, Paul McGowan fires over the bar from just outside the area.

1641 jphethean via Twitter asked for the attendance at Ibrox this afternoon. It was 50,258 John, cheers.

1640 Alba via #bbcsportsound: "Lanarkshire should be proud of this Motherwell team and come out in numbers to the 'Ark, what a season so far!" Stuart McCall said on Friday he was delighted with his squad's efforts so far this season and no wonder.

1638 St Mirren's Dougie Imrie sends a delightful ball into the path of Nigel Hasselbaink in the United box but the pint-sized striker can't apply the finishing touch. It remains goalless at Tannadice.

1636 Killie have 15 minutes to hold on to their lead, or add to it, at Ibrox. Ten-man Rangers are toiling.

1634 United midfielder John Rankin sends in a dangerous ball but St Mirren defender Marc McAusland clears the danger. The game is picking up slightly at Tannadice. Come on, give us a goal!

1633 Inverness goal: The visitors equalise against Dunfermline somewhat against the run of play and Jonny Hayes's superb ball finds Nick Ross - not the former Crimewatch presenter - unmarked at the back post to score.

1632 GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 1-1 INVERNESS CT (NICK ROSS)

1630 Finlay Thewlis via Twitter: "More and more it seems like Motherwell deserve this champions league spot (from a St Johnstone fan) #bbcsportsound"

1629 Rangers veteran Lee McCulloch puts the ball in the net but referee Iain Brines rules it out for an infringement.

1627 Great effort from Dundee United's Johnny Russell who picks up the ball in the inside-left channel, fires in a shot towards the top left hand corner that St Mirren keeper Craig Samson reaches to make a great save.

1625 Steven Craig via #bbcsportsound: "A Star Bar!?! I've not had one in years! Where did you get it from-the bottom of an xmas selection box? #bbcsportsound" I've got a stash down in the vault after receiving a monster supply from Gene Wilder in his Willy Wonka days when we met for a few pints!

1624 Motherwell goal: Nicky Law eventually finds the back of the net, the midfielder fizzing a shot past Jamie MacDonald after great work by the impressive Henrik Ojamaa. Ten-man 'Well extend their lead over the Jambos.

1624 GOAL! MOTHERWELL 3-0 HEARTS (NICKY LAW)

1622 Andy Kirk squanders a chance for Dunfermline after a mistake by David Proctor. The striker's shot is turned wide by Inverness goalkeeper Ryan Esson when a ball across the goal would have found the unmarked Martin Hardie.

1620 Garry Hay's free-kick is met by James Fowler. He knocks the ball down for Mo Sissoko who diverts the ball over from six yards. That's four excellent chances Killie have squandered.

1618 I've completely removed our latest scores and SPL table as it stands puffboxes from the right-hand side of the live text commentary. Once again, apologies for the technical problems.

LATEST SPL SCORES

RANGERS 0-1 KILMARNOCK

DUNDEE UTD 0-0 ST MIRREN

MOTHERWELL 2-0 HEARTS

DUNFERMLINE 1-0 INVERNESS CT

1616 BBC Radio Scotland pundit Steve Cowan: "It's been a lively start to the second half. Dunfermline have already created more than they did in the first half and Inverness will be kicking themselves for not making more of a couple of opportunities"

1615 Ben Gordon cuts out a pass from Rangers captain Steven Davis, makes a forward surge and crosses. The ball comes off Carlos Bocanegra's arm in the penalty box - referee Iain Brines decides the contact was accidental.

1614 This time Nicky Law is denied by the frame of the goal after firing in another shot for Motherwell. Hearts fought the Law and the Law nearly won!

1611 Nicky Law's attempted chip just misses the crossbar after more concerted pressure from 10-man Motherwell.

1610 Paddy Boyle just fails get a good touch on Joe Cardle's cross across the face of the Inverness goal as Dunfermline start the second half brightly in search for a second goal.

1608 St Mirren's Dougie Imrie should really keep himself on-side as he strides clear towards the Dundee United goal. That was a real chance for the opener at Tannadice...

1607 RED CARD Keith Lasley picks up a second yellow card for a challenge on Ian Black and Motherwell are down to 10 men. Can the impoverished Jambos come roaring back?

1606 Henrik Ojamaa and Nicky Law fail to capitalise on a defensive error by Andy Webster early in the second half with both players foiled by Jamie MacDonald. Hearts boss Paulo Sergio will have shredded nerves like Inspector Dreyfuss in the Pink Panther as he surveys this chaotic Jambo defending.

1605 Mervan Celik comes on for Rangers, with David Healy making way.

1604 BBC Radio Scotland pundit Sandy Clark at Tannadice: "The second half can't be as bad as the first!"

1602 A lot of you are getting in touch to mention the mistake in our as it stands league table. We're aware of the problem and our Special Forces boffins are on the case. Click on the "view full table" and Rangers' points deduction is shown. Apologies for the problem.

1559 Right, I've had a quick cup of tea and a Star Bar, and am ready for action in the second half. Here we go!

1554 Jonathan Black via #bbcsportsound: "Care to tell if Keith Lasley's goal is going down as an OG or is Keith getting it? I've got money on him to score #bbcsportsound" At the moment it's still being credited to Lasley. Mine's a pint if you come up trumps!

1553 ScottSChristie via #bbcsportsound: "You've got to give Ian Brines some credit for making that decision, can't have been easy for him given everything."

1552 Manager Ally McCoist will aim to galvanise 10-man Rangers at the break. The home fans inside Ibrox boo at the half-time whistle; their anger could be aimed at referee Iain Brines following Sasa Papac's dismissal or they could be looking for a much better display from their side.

1551 HALF-TIME: RANGERS 0-1 KILMARNOCK

1550 Dunfermline goal: The Pars take the lead against the run of play. From a disputed free-kick, Martin Hardie's free-kick comes off the crossbar, David Proctor makes a poor clearing header and Andy Kirk sets up Joe Cardle to fire home. Jim McIntyre's side are on course to move off the foot of the table!

1549 HALF-TIME MOTHERWELL 2-0 HEARTS

DUNDEE UTD 0-0 ST MIRREN

1548 GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 1-0 INVERNESS CT (JOE CARDLE)

1547 Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald smothers the ball bravely at the feet of Henrik Ojamaa as Motherwell search for a third. Motherwell are galloping all over Hearts here.

1546 Andy Kirk is just beaten to a long ball by Inverness goalkeeper Ryan Esson in a rare moment of threat from the home side. But, in his effort to reach it, the Dunfermline striker looks to have injured himself and has pulled up, possibly with a thigh strain. Ouch!

1545 RED CARD Rangers are down to 10 men as defender Sasa Papac is given his marching orders for a lunge at Liam Kelly.

1544 DanSimKen via #bbcsportsound: "Fantastic shout with Elliott and Given, been trying to figure out who he reminds me of for months!" Haha, spitting image of one another!

1543 Sone Aluko, trying to spark some life into a flat Rangers, cuts in from the right and sends a squiggler of a shot from 25 yards that keeper Cammy Bell eventually controls to keep his Killie team in front.

1542 Motherwell goal: Motherwell double their lead with a quick-fire second. Keith Lasley's cross finds Jamie Murphy and the striker's header goes in off the underside of the bar. The Steelmen are turning the screw against the frazzled Jambos.

1541 GOAL! MOTHERWELL 2-0 HEARTS (JAMIE MURPHY)

1539 Motherwell goal: The pies and bovril may be taking another tanking inside Fir Park, but this time it's in giddy celebration as the home fans celebrate their side taking the lead. Keith Lasley's shot cracks off Andy Webster and ends up in the net after the Jambos make a meal of clearing a corner.

1538 GOAL! MOTHERWELL 1-0 HEARTS (KEITH LASLEY)

1537 Hearts defender Ryan McGowan bursts into the Motherwell box and blasts in a shot that just whizzes past Darren Randolph's right-hand post.

1536 The Motherwell fans are up in arms after Marius Zaliukas's obstruction on Henrik Ojamaa goes unseen by the officials. Bits of pie and cups of bovril are tossed up into the Lanarkshire sky in a sudden bout of frustration.

1535 David Templeton balloons a shot over the Motherwell bar after good play by Stephen Elliott, who is the double of Aston Villa keeper Shay Given!

1534 Paul Heffernan pulls the ball back to James Fowler and shoots inches wide of Allan McGregor's post to quicken pulses down Govan way. Killie are well on top in terms of chances created. Manager Kenny Shiels will be dusting down his Countdown Conundrum expression again...

1533 BBC Radio Scotland pundit Steve Cowan: "Dunfermline have got to do more if they are going to get anything out of this game"

1532 A Dundee United free kick is met by Gavin Gunning who heads back across the box but just out of reach Jon Daly in front of goal. What a chance for Peter Houston's troops!

1530 BBC Scotland's flame-haired reporter Jim Spence says of the Tannadice teaser: "There's a game of football threatening to break out here..."

1527 Precious little to set the collective pulse racing at Tannadice. United captain Jon Daly is inches away from getting his napper onto a deep cross from Gary Mackay-Steven into the St Mirren box but the Buddies survive. It remains goalless in Dundee.

1525 Rangers have the ball in the net but striker David Healy's effort is chalked off for offside; much to the chagrin of the home fans. It remains 1-0 to Kilmarnock.

1523 Killie striker Paul Heffernan's shot is blocked by Kirk Broadfoot, who is in for Kyle Bartley today. The visitors are plugging away looking to double their lead.

1521 Rangers make an early substitution, as Ross Perry comes on for injured giant Romanian defender Dorin Goian. BBC Scotland's Chick Young says: "Rangers are all over the place"

1520 Killie miss another chance at Ibrox. Garry Hay sets up Ben Gordon and with his favoured left foot he smacks a shot over the bar from 10 yards. Kenny Shiels will be fizzing at such profligacy.

1519 After some early pressure from Motherwell, the match has settled somewhat with neither side creating any serious openings.

1518 Aarbee12 and SupanovaHeights have tweeted querying our as it stands league table. Thanks, we're aware of the problem and are trying to fix it.

1517 Nick Ross has the first effort on target at East End Park, but the Inverness midfielder's effort from an acute angle is saved by Dunfermline goalkeeper Chris Smith.

1515 Kilmarnock goal: The visitors stun the home supporters as Dean Shiels slaloms past a few Rangers defenders and places the ball to keeper Allan McGregor's right to give Kilmarnock the lead at raucous Ibrox.

1514 GOAL! RANGERS 0-1 KILMARNOCK (DEAN SHIELS)

1511 At Ibrox, Steven Davis hits a 40-yard diagonal ball to Lee McCulloch in the Killie box and Killie's Ben Gordon turns the ball out for a corner with Rangers threatening. Sone Aluko's set-piece is met by Maurice Edu whose header is cleared off the line by Liam Kelly. It remains goalless.

1509 EdinburghTom via #bbcsportsound: "Not enjoying "manual refresh". It's the worse deodorant I've ever used #bbcsportsround #thesmelloffootball" Bear with us Tom, we're hoping normal service will be resumed soon!

1507 Dundee United howl for a penalty as Stuart Armstrong tumbles under a Jeroen Tesselaar challenge but referee Brian Winter is having none of it!

1505 BBC Scotland football pundit Billy Dodds: "Ibrox is bouncing. I didn't expect anything else. Now it's up to the players."

1504 Motherwell cause chaos in the Hearts box and goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald makes a bit of a hash of saving Henrik Ojamaa's shot but then blocks Nicky Law's effort to snuff out the danger.

1502 Dunfermline have thrown Martin Hardie, normally a midfielder, up front along with Andy Kirk against Inverness.

1501 The sun may be splitting the sky in Motherwell but BBC Sportsound commentator John Barnes says it's "bitterly cold" at Fir Park.

1500 Here we go in this afternoon's four SPL games; hoping for a goal blizzard to keep us entertained...

1458 BBC Scotland's Chick Young says the Rangers supporters crammed inside Ibrox have certainly followed manager Ally McCoist's message of: "we don't do walking away" to the letter. Our Chico says the stadium is packed to the rafters! Tina Turner is bursting her lungs; a huge roar greets the players.

1456 Cr_a_ig via #bbcsportsound: "I like the satisfaction that F5 brings of knowing that you are definitely up to date! #bbcsportsound" I've got a wonderful vision of armchair fans hitting F5, woodpecker like, to feast their eyes on the goal-fest!

1454 Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels: "Rangers won the title on our patch last season and that's hard to swallow. We've been working really hard to keep focus on ourselves (this week) and we want to get a place in the top six. Rangers have a lot of quality but we're probably the worst team they could play today because we'll keep the ball on (the Ibrox) surface."

1452 Dunfermline are without injured playmaker Mark Kerr, while Paul Burns and Liam Buchanan drop to the bench, with Joe Cardle, Martin Hardie and Kyle Hutton returning to the starting line-up. Inverness make only one change, David Proctor coming in for the suspended Steve Williams.

1450 Sean Dillon comes into Dundee United's defence in place of the injured Garry Kenneth. St Mirren are without top scorer Steven Thompson through suspension, so Dougie Imrie is handed a start, while Steven Thomson comes into midfield, with Nigel Hasselbaink dropping to the bench.

1448 Receiving loads of tweets about the Rangers/administrator/HMRC theme. AlanTMunro says: "HMRC didn't try to lodge a winding up petition as the interim moratorium triggered by an intention to appoint prohibits it."

Colin_White tweets: "Re: 1427. The administrators legal obligation is to ensure the survival of the company. Creditors are the victims in this."

Meganxpoison says: "Don't understand how the administrators are adamant Rangers will survive when missing £24m and tax case not over."

1446 Keith Harrison via #bbcsportsound: "Forget Ibrox... biggest match of the day is at Fir Park in the hunt for Champions League football #bbcsportsound" I fancy a few goals at Fir Park this afternoon. What price another Tom Hateley goal direct from a corner?

1434 Always enjoy seeing Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels pacing the technical area. The manager invariably wears the pained expression of a man trying to grapple with the latest Countdown Conundrum...

1432 The sun's now splitting the sky down Govan way; the supporters must be looking heavenward in puzzled disbelief! Brolly? Jacket? Short-sleeves?

1430 Robin Miller tweets: "Things that are annoying: going back to "manual refreshing" of pages. What's that all about?" I'm sharing your pain Robin. We're experiencing technical problems with our new live text system. Our top boffins are on the case to iron out these problems and we won't bring it back until we're satisfied it's back for good! Meantime, it's sepia-toned hitting F5 harking back to the good old days...

1426 Kilmarnock team news and the line-ups from the other three games coming up!

1424 The rain is hammering down on the streets of Govan leading to Ibrox stadium as supporters make their way to this afternoon's game.

1422 SpringerSam via #bbcsportsound: "Pay #Dunfermline what they are oweD #Rangers - no cash for Cousin!"

1420 Rangers had hoped to field striker Daniel Cousin this afternoon, but the SPL declined to register the 35-year-old, after imposing a transfer embargo on Rangers as well as deducting 10 points for going into administration. The Ibrox club can appeal against the decision.

1418 Harg7769 via Twitter: "Aren't administrators supposed to deal in fact, not tease with hints? If Paul Clark has news, release it."

1416 From Scott in Irvine by text on 80295: "If the taxman wanted to shut down the club he'd serve a winding up notice? Did they want to shut down Hearts for less money? When will the media stop sooking in with the "institution" of Rangers? They've stolen millions of pounds from all of us."

1415 HaunsUpFurWhyte via Twitter: "The bottom line is... The Big Hoose must stay open" Will never tire of hearing/seeing that clip of the big man #rangers #bbcsportsound"

1413 Clark also said that if HMRC wanted to close Rangers down they would have issued a winding-up order. Clark pointed out that HMRC have not chosen this route. What do you make of that? Send me a message @thomasmcg76 or via #bbcsportsound or a text on 80295.

1411 Paul Clark: "We've received some information overnight in relation to transactions involving Rangers. We expect to give an announcement about this next week. It is not about liquidation, it is about the survival of the football club."

1410 Administrator Paul Clark is addressing journalists at Ibrox...

1402 Third-placed Motherwell are gunning for victory at home to Hearts. Manager Stuart McCall: "We could be 12 points clear of Hearts next Thursday morning or three points clear, following our game in hand over Hibs next Wednesday night. If we could take maximum points in the next two games, we would be looking strong in third."

1400 We'll hear from the administrators at Rangers Duff and Phelps on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound. I'll give you the latest, soon...

1358 RANGERS TEAM NEWS: McGregor, Broadfoot, Goian, Bocanegra, Papac, Aluko, Edu, Davis, Wallace, McCulloch, Healy. Subs: Alexander, Perry, McCabe, Wylde, Hemmings, Kerkar, Celik

Kilmarnock team and news from this afternoon's three other SPL games to follow...

1354 Bringthemonjpn to #bbcsportsound: "Look forward to the match chat, as always. A bigger crowd than usual?" Ibrox will be bursting at the seams this afternoon, Ally McCoist has indicated that the Rangers fans will show what the club means to them.

1352 Jim McIntyre has urged his Dunfermline side to seize the opportunity to move off the foot of the table. "I think we have to worry about ourselves and get the results that move us up," he said. "The only way a relegation battle is going to involve other teams is by us winning games to drag other teams back into it."

1350 Dundee United boss Peter Houston is relishing the visit of St Mirren to Tannadice. "They have a good mix of experience and youth so we know we'll have to be at our best," he said. "We have a couple of home matches coming up and there is a lot at stake."

1345 Dunfermline, who are rooted to the foot of the SPL table, have the chance to leapfrog 11th-placed Hibs this afternoon. Three points for the Pars at home to Inverness would be enough to send Hibs bottom, with Pat Fenlon's men kicking their heels until they face Celtic at Easter Road tomorrow.

1342 BBC Scotland's Alasdair Lamont on Twitter: "Paul Murray hopes to meet Rangers administrators towards the end of the coming week. He's already registered interest, but much has to be examined in terms of the depth of the financial probs at the club" Former director Paul Murray has been linked with a potential takeover. Rangers owner Craig Whyte has indicated he won't be at Ibrox this afternoon...

1340 We have been suffering some technical difficulties with our live texts, so, if you can return to the days of hitting F5 to manually refresh the text this afternoon, I'd be much obliged! Tweet the commentary via the hashtag #bbcsportsound to give your views on events at Ibrox and this afternoon's other SPL games.

1337 Administrators are meeting Rangers' supporters groups at Ibrox before this afternoon's game, while the Scottish FA has begun an inquiry into the activities at the club.

1335 Ally McCoist's side were deducted 10 points after entering adminstration to leave them 14 behind league leaders Celtic. McCoist, however, is keen to remain upbeat. In today's match programme, the Rangers manager says: "Everybody is of the same opinion; that we must rally together and take this great institution forward.

"The most important people at this football club have always been the fans and that will always be the case. You are suffering at the moment and I am one myself."

1333 This afternoon's other three SPL games:

DUNFERMLINE v INVERNESS

MOTHERWELL v HEARTS

DUNDEE UTD v ST MIRREN

1332 It will be Rangers' first fixture since being placed into administration last Tuesday and it promises to be a pulsating afternoon...

1330 Good afternoon and welcome to our live text coverage of this afternoon's four Scottish Premier League games. Rangers are expected to have the biggest football crowd in the UK today for the home game with Kilmarnock - as thousands of fans turn up at Ibrox to show their support following a turbulent week for the club.
