Boss Simon Weaver proud of Harrogate Town players

Harrogate Town manager Simon Weaver urged his side to remain confident after they beat Boston United 2-0 in Blue Square Bet North.

Goals from Alan White and Adam Nowakowski meant Town are now four points clear of the relegation zone with four games remaining.

Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "It was a 'must-win' game and I thought we deserved the win.

"Confidence is massive at this stage. They deserve encouragement and praise."

Weaver added: "I was very proud of the performance and every single one really did give 100% and we won the battle out there today.

"But we know we've got to make it count in the next couple of days prior to the game on Monday.

"The preparation's got to be spot on because we've got a big game against Blyth on Monday and we've got to force the issue home and get another three points."
