Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish signs new two-year deal

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish has signed a new two-year deal at Stonebridge Road.
Daish, 43, guided the Fleet to 14th in the Blue Square Bet Premier this season and will become the club's longest serving manager later this year.
Director Jessica McQueen said: "Liam has proved time and again what a great manager he is and we are delighted he has committed himself to the club.
"To have his continued involvement gives us the stability to progress."
Since his appointment in 2005, Daish has seen the club change its name from Gravesend and Northfleet, witnessed the takeover of MyFootballClub, external and ensured the side's survival in the Blue Square Bet Premier, despite only being a part-time club.
His finest hour came when he guided the Fleet to the FA Trophy crown in 2008, defeating Torquay 1-0 in the final., external
"His skill in identifying players to bring in, organising them, motivating them and creating successful teams is without question," McQueen added in a statement on the club's website., external
"He has proved to be so much more than a football manager to this club."
