Bournemouth have announced a new sponsor for their Dean Court stadium, after agreeing a contract with Goldsands Management.

The London-based firm have signed a two-year deal with the club, and from the start of the new season Dean Court will be known as the Goldsands Stadium.

Dean Court was previously called the Seward Stadium, before the firm went into administration in February.

The five-figure annual deal is thought to be worth up to £50,000 for the club.

Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell said the news was another major boost to the League One club.

"We are very pleased to be able to announce this positive step for the club," said Mitchell.

"Goldsands Management are a fledgling business with big ambitions and they have grasped the opportunity for some national exposure and great publicity by linking with the Cherries.

"We are a club on the up, and they want to be associated with that. That is a ringing endorsement for this club, and we look forward to working closely with them for the next two seasons and beyond."
