Manchester City striker Harry Bunn joins Crewe on loan

Manchester City striker Harry Bunn has joined promoted Crewe Alexandra on loan for the first half of the season.

The 19-year-old is due to stay at the League One side until 6 January.

He had three separate loan spells in English football's third tier last term, turning out for Rochdale, Preston and ending the season with Oldham.

Meanwhile, Crewe boss Steve Davis is confident that midfielder Luke Murphy will sign a new contract,, external tying him to the club until 2014.

Bunn is the son of former Luton Town, Hull City and Oldham striker Frankie Bunn, who spent 10 years at Manchester City as reserve team coach until 2007 and is now part of the backroom team at Huddersfield Town.
