Newport County manager Justin Edinburgh told BBC Radio Wales:

"The manner we conceded our goals disappoints me but, making no excuses, the players that we had in the team were certainly make-shift in the back four.

"We had two central midfielders in our back four and I think that showed maybe second half in the decisions we made.

"But what I will take is a lot of heart, a lot of courage and a lot of belief that this group goes right to the end.

"We looked out and it certainly was good to see that ball hit the back of the net."
