Truro City boss Lee Hodges felt his side deserved their 3-2 win over AFC Hornchurch in Blue Square Bet South.

Kieffer Moore's goals either side of half-time put City 2-0 up before Leon McKenzie pulled one back.

Andy Watkins made it 3-1 just after the hour before McKenzie got his second in the final minute.

"I'm pleased for the boys because I've said in recent weeks they've been playing well and ended up on the losing team," Hodges told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"I think we deserved to win throughout the 90 minutes."

But Hodges faces more injury problems with goalkeeper Tim Sandercombe being forced off with a knee injury.

It meant skipper Jake Ash had to go in goal, and forces Hodges to look for a new goalkeeper for the FA Trophy tie with Farnborough on Saturday.

Truro , external as their financial problems continue, but with Dan Green leaving for Dorchester Town, they have a place in their 16-man squad available.

"We're going to have a get a goalkeeper because it looks like Tim might be out for a little while," added Hodges.

"I've got to try and shuffle my pack and get players in.

"I'm not sure where we stand on the money situation, it's going to be tough and tight, but all I can do is to try and get the best player for the right price."
