Ballinamallard beat bottom club Lisburn Distillery 2-0 at Ferney Park

Ballinamallard United scored a goal in both halves to beat Lisburn Distillery and go into second in the Premiership.

Steve Feeney's weak left-foot shot from the edge of the area went under the body of Billy Brennan on 45 minutes.

Chris Curran added the second when he picked the ball up, beat two defenders and shot into the bottom left-hand corner from the edge of the area on 64.

Gary Liggett had a shot saved by Alvin Rouse and home defender Mark Stafford blocked another Liggett effort.

The Whites are bottom of the table, level on points with Donegal Celtic, who host Linfield on Saturday.

Next up for Tim McCann's struggling side is a League Cup quarter-final against Crusaders at Seaview on Monday night.
