BBC Scotland will screen full live television coverage of St Mirren's Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final meeting with Celtic.

The tie will be played at Hampden on Sunday 27 January at 14:30 GMT.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle face Hearts in the other semi-final tie, to be played at Easter Road.

St Mirren booked their place in the last four with victory over Aberdeen after a penalty shoot-out, while Celtic saw off St Johnstone 5-0.

Neither St Mirren nor Inverness have ever won the Scottish League Cup.

Celtic last lifted the trophy in March 2009 with a 2-0 win over Rangers, while Scottish Cup holders Hearts' last success in the tournament came 50 years ago, in season 1962/63.

Sportscene will broadcast the match on BBC One Scotland, starting at 14:15 GMT.
