Wycombe 3-0 Burton

Matt McClure scored his second brace in a week to help Wycombe overcome 10-man Burton and lift them out of the League Two relegation zone.

The Chairboys opened the scoring when McClure reacted quickest after Dean Lyness parried Joel Grant's shot.

Brewers defender Zander Diamond saw red for hauling down McClure and Grant converted the subsequent spot-kick.

And McClure, 21, matched his double in Tuesday's win against Rotherham by latching on to a loose ball.

Rowett derides penalty decision

"Whatever way you look at it, the referee has changed the game.

"I didn't agree with the decision for the penalty and certainly not for the sending off.

" I've spoken to their manager and he said the first one wasn't a penalty, but the second one was a penalty. I just felt after that, we struggled to get to grips with the game."
