Dagenham sign Bournemouth's Josh Wakefield on loan

Dagenham & Redbridge have completed the loan signing of AFC Bournemouth attacking midfielder Josh Wakefield.

The 18-year-old, who signed professional forms with the Cherries earlier this year, joins the League Two side on a one-month deal.

Daggers boss John Still told the club website: "Josh is a player I have watched a few times.

"He was enthusiastic, bright and lively. He can play wide, centre midfield and off a forward."

He added: "We have been helped by AFC Bournemouth financially and it hasn't cost us any money to bring him here."
