Newport-Gateshead: Weather forces venue switch

Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier game between Gateshead and Newport County has been switched to Rodney Parade.

The clubs have agreed to the switch from Gateshead's International Stadium because of the adverse weather conditions in the North East of England.

With further rain forecast for this week the clubs have agreed to the change of venue.

Saturday's game will now kick off at 12:30 GMT with reduced ticket prices.

Gateshead are scheduled to host the return fixture between the two sides on Tuesday, 26 February 2013.
