Guernsey FC face a New Year fixtures pile-up after postponing their Combined Counties League game with Dorking because Footes Lane was flooded.

It is the fifth match to be called off by the club this season because of a waterlogged pitch.

Guernsey had to postpone the visit of Raynes Park Vale in October as well a games with Epsom and Ewell and South Park in November.

They were also forced to call off last week's game with Sandhurst Town.

The postponements, coupled with Guernsey's run in the FA Vase, means the third-placed Green Lions have five games in hand on Combined Counties Premier League leaders Egham Town and three over second-placed Badshot Lea.
