Gateshead-Nuneaton postponed due to unplayable pitch

  • Published

Gateshead have postponed Saturday's home fixture with Nuneaton Town after the pitch was deemed unplayable.

Referee Seb Stocksbridge carried out an inspection on Friday afternoon and decided the surface was too waterlogged for the game to go ahead.

Last Tuesday's defeat by Barrow is the only game to be played at the International Stadium since November's FA Trophy success against Macclesfield.

Gateshead are next due to host Grimsby in Blue Square Bet Premier on Tuesday.
