Newport County appoint Dave Boddy as Chief Executive

Newport County have appointed Dave Boddy as its new Chief Executive.

Boddy was the Assistant General Manager of the Football Conference for the past three years and director of the Conference for five years.

"The potential of the club, particularly since the move to Rodney Parade, is there for all to see," he said.

Boddy arrives at the club with experience as a former Chairman and Director of Worcester City FC.

The club, who moved to Rodney Parade this season and who are currently third in the Conference Premier, have appointed Boddy in a bid to strengthen their off the field activities.

"My role will be to continue developing the infrastructure of the Club off the field to help fulfil that enormous potential," Boddy added.
