Bournemouth have signed Bristol City striker Brett Pitman on a permanent deal following a loan spell.

The 24-year-old, who played for the Cherries from 2004 to 2010, has scored three goals in seven games following his November loan move.

He has not experienced defeat in his second spell at the club, with five wins and two draws.

The Jersey-born forward has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal, with the club not confirming if a fee was paid.
