Jersey Scottish move clear with win over St Brelade

Jersey Scottish moved three points clear at the top of Jersey's Premiership with a 2-0 win at St Brelade.

Striker Ross Crick put Scottish ahead in the first half and Barry Keith's last-minute goal sealed the win.

The Scots went into the weekend behind St Paul's on goal difference but their match against Rozel was postponed.

Elsewhere Jean Moubeke's hat-trick helped Wanderers to a 6-4 triumph over St Ouen.

The western parish are still without a point to their name this season after six defeats from six.

Saturday's other top-flight match in the island, between Grouville and St Lawrence, was postponed.

Meanwhile in the Championship leaders Trinity made it 10 wins from 10 with a 2-1 win at Jersey Portuguese.

St Clement also continued their push for promotion with a 2-0 win over St Martin, while Arthur Illingworth scored four to help St John to a 4-2 victory against Sporting Academics.

Beeches thumped winless Magpies 4-0.
