Former Portsmouth keeper Alan Knight has rejoined the club as goalkeeping coach for the rest of the season.

The 51-year-old made over 800 appearances for Pompey in a 22-year career.

His final appearance came at Norwich in 2000 and he remained at Fratton Park as goalkeeping coach until 2005.

Knight, who also managed Blue Square Bet south side Dorchester last season, takes over from John Keeley who left for Blackburn earlier his month.
