Morecambe 2-1 Aldershot

Morecambe beat struggling Aldershot at the Globe Arena to move to within seven points of a League Two play-off place.

Nick Fenton's header hit the post for the Shrimps, but they went ahead when Aldershot's Oliver Risser headed past his own goalkeeper Jamie Young.

Morecambe doubled their lead as Gary McDonald dived to head in after Ryan Williams's first shot had been blocked.

Danny Hylton scored in injury-time for Aldershot following a passing move, but it was not enough to deny Morecambe.
