Relegation-haunted Plymouth moved off the foot of the Football League with a battling goalless home draw against mid-table Bradford.

Plymouth goalkeeper Jake Cole made a brilliant first-half save to deny City striker Garry Thompson.

Both sides hit the woodwork in the second half.

Jason Banton saw a 10-yard strike smash off the upright for Argyle, before Thompson rattled the woodwork with a 20-yard volley for the Bantams.
