Accrington 0-3 Fleetwood

Jon Parkin scored a hat-trick to boost Fleetwood's play-off chances as they brushed aside an Accrington Stanley outfit now propping up League Two.

The visitors went ahead in the first half when an unmarked Parkin volleyed home Junior Brown's right-wing cross.

They doubled their lead after 62 minutes when striker Parkin was put through by David Ball and stroked the ball home.

Parkin flicked in Shaun Beeley's cross at the near post for his third goal.

This victory takes Fleetwood up to eighth, five points off a play-off place.
