Man City goalkeeper Eirik Holmen Johansen joins Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe United have signed Manchester City goalkeeper Eirik Holmen Johansen on loan until the end of the season.

Johansen, 20, has not played for City's first team, but has been a regular in their Elite Development side.

The Norwegian will provide cover for Scunthorpe number one Sam Slocombe, who has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a torn thigh muscle.

He goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game against Coventry.
