Barnet 2-0 Fleetwood

Goals from Mark Byrne and Luke Gambin helped Barnet beat Fleetwood as the Bees gained a victory to remain clear of the League Two relegation zone.

The hosts went ahead when Byrne scored the rebound after Curtis Weston's close-range shot had been blocked by away goalkeeper Scott Davies.

Gambin made it 2-0, walking the ball into the net after a defensive mix-up between Davies and Shaun Beeley.

Alan Goodall shot wide from close range to miss Fleetwood's best opportunity.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Fleetwood Town manager Graham Alexander told BBC Radio Lancashire:

"That wasn't a performance of professional standard. The goals were really sloppy but if you take the goals out of it, it wasn't good enough anyway. We didn't offer enough.

"I've got my thoughts and I think it's a mentality thing. We've shown we can beat the best teams in this league but you have to do it on a consistent basis.

"We've shown that we struggle against teams at the bottom, which tells me there's a mentality problem."
