Todd Kane: Chelsea defender returns to Blackburn on loan

Blackburn Rovers have signed youngster Todd Kane from Chelsea on a one-month loan for the second time this season.

The 19-year-old made four appearances during a spell at Ewood Park in January, and has also had a stint at League One side Preston this term.

The England Under-19 right-back is Chelsea's under-21 captain but has yet to make a first-team appearance.

Manager Michael Appleton was looking for additions because of the amount of injuries at the club.
