Cowdenbeath 0-3 Partick Thistle
- Published
Kris Doolan scored twice as Partick Thistle moved to the top of Division One with a win over 10-man Cowdenbeath.
Stephen O'Donnell fired in from close-range on 24 minutes and the Jags doubled their lead when Doolan headed in from a James Craigen corner.
Thomas O'Brien was dismissed in the 70th minute for unfairly denying Doolan a goalscoring opportunity.
And the striker soon capitalised on O'Brien's absence with a close-range header from a Steven Lawless cross.
The win for Alan Archibald's men lifts them one point above Morton, with a game in hand over their closest rivals.
