Partick Thistle's Kris Doolan scored a brace against Cowdenbeath for the second time in three days as the Scottish Division One league leaders stretched their advantage to four points.

The visitors took the game to Cowden in the early stages and went in front in the 12th minute when Doolan found the bottom corner of Colin Stewart's net from the edge of the penalty area.

Cowden drew level in the 31st minute when Craig Moore fired in from close range.

The Jags regained the lead 17 minutes after the restart through Doolans header and the striker's second proved to be the winner.

Cowdenbeath: Colin Stewart, Cowan, Armstrong, Adamson, Linton, McKenzie (Milne 59), Ramsay (Coult 77), McAllister, Stevenson, Miller (Greg Stewart 66), Moore. Subs Not Used: Wilson, Naismith.
