Alfreton Town 4-0 Barrow

  • Published

Barrow's survival hopes were dealt a bitter blow as they fell to a defeat at Alfreton, meaning they are four points adrift of safety with two games left.

Paul Clayton broke the deadlock with a simple finish inside the six-yard box.

Clayton's 18-yard volley doubled his side's lead, before Nathan Arnold bagged a brace of his own.

His drilled effort from the edge of the penalty area was followed by a late strike from close range to put the result even further beyond doubt.
