Aaron Williams' first-half hat-trick earned already-relegated AFC Telford their first win in six months, as they consigned Ebbsfleet to the drop too.

The Fleet, who had to win and rely on others to stay up, led on 16 minutes when Stefan Payne found the top corner.

But Williams equalised in a goalmouth scramble two minutes later before converting two close-range headers.

The Bucks had Christian Smith sent off near the end but held on to send Liam Daish's side down.

Telford had gone a Conference record of 30 league games without a victory before Saturday's success.

AFC Telford United interim manager John Psaras told BBC Radio Shropshire:

"I am really happy it's come today. It is not nice to go on such a poor run, and it's not great to send a side down.

"I am delighted with our boys' work-rate. I look around and see the quality. We really felt we could come here and get a result.

"We only had one fit player on the bench. We've had seven players not fit to play and we are down to the bare bones.

"If we'd had the spirit we showed today since Christmas, we would not have been relegated."
