Jersey Scottish lift the trophy

Jersey Scottish cruised to the Channel Island championship as they beat Guernsey champions Belgrave Wanderers 4-0 to win the Upton.

Joe Murphy gave the Scots the lead with a strike in the first half.

Bels had Jack Domeille sent off shortly after the restart and the Scots took full advantage.

Calum Brennan and two long-range efforts from Jack Boyle ensured Scottish banished memories of their 4-0 loss in last year's game.

Elsewhere Jersey Wanderers ended St Brelade's hopes of a fourth-placed finish in the Jersey Premiership with a 1-0 victory.

Jean Moubeke converted a 19th minute penalty to seal the win, as Wanderers finish the season in third place with St Brealde in fifth.

In the Championship, St Clement ended the season 12 points behind leaders Trinity after a 2-0 win over Beeches thanks to goals from Pascal Corcoran and Tim Aubert.
