Scunthorpe United: Paul Reid among seven players released

Scunthorpe United have released seven players following their relegation to League Two.

Defender Paul Reid, midfielders Robbie Gibbons, Damien Mozika, Josh Walker and Andy Barcham and strikers Karl Hawley and Akpo Sodje have all left the club.

The Iron have taken up the contract options on Niall Canavan, Mark Duffy and Callum Howe.

New deals have been offered to Jimmy Ryan, James Severn, Matt Godden, Eddie Nolan, Michael Collins and Tom Newey.
