Birmingham City have made their second summer signing after agreeing a two-year contract with Motherwell keeper Darren Randolph.
The 26-year-old ex-Charlton shot-stopper, who has spent the last three years at Fir Park, , externalwill join Blues on 1 July when his current deal expires.
Blues boss Lee Clark has also agreed a new deal for one of his young players.
Teenage left-back Mitch Hancox has signed a three-year contract, tieing him to St Andrew's until 30 June 2016.
Academy product Hancox, 19, made his debut as a late substitute against Clark's former club Huddersfield Town last October, going on to make 20 appearances.
As for Randolph, he will become the fifth in a succession of internationals to take on the role of Blues' first-choice keeper, replacing Jack Butland who joined Stoke in January but spent the rest of the season back at the club on loan.
And he follows the same road south of the border to St Andrew's taken last month by Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Andrew Shinnie, who will also officially complete his move on 1 July.
"I wanted to come here because of the size of the club," said once-capped Republic of Ireland international Randolph.
"The manager wants to achieve things and, after speaking to him, I was sold.
"I've proved myself in the SPL. Now it's time that I came down here and did the same in the Championship."
Randolph broke the club's clean sheet record, held by John Ruddy, in helping Motherwell reach the Scottish Cup final in 2011. And boss Stuart McCall led them to second place in this season's SPL.
Bray-born Randolph spent time out on loan with Welling United, Accrington Stanley, Gillingham, Bury and Hereford United, where he made headlines for refusing to play for boss Graham Turner's Bulls in an FA Cup tie., external
"I have been surprised that we have not had offers for him over the last 18 months," said Well boss McCall. "Darren has been outstanding for us.
"He is not only an outstanding goalkeeper, he's a really good guy, is composed, gets about his job and never let us down."
