Chesterfield sign Scunthorpe midfielder Jimmy Ryan

Chesterfield have signed Scunthorpe United midfielder Jimmy Ryan on a one-year deal.
The 24-year-old was offered a new contract by the Iron but has chosen to join the Spireites instead.
He joined Scunthorpe in June 2011 from Accrington Stanley and scored four goals in 69 league games.
Ryan is the third player to join the Proact Stadium side this summer after goalkeeper Aaron Chapman and striker Eoin Doyle.
