The transfer of Scunthorpe's Callum Kennedy to Oxford United looks to have collapsed, BBC Humberside reports.

Speaking on BBC Radio Oxford on Thursday, Scunthorpe manager Brian Laws suggested the U's wanted further information about a hamstring injury.

The 23-year-old former Swindon defender suffered the injury last season and played just 23 times for the club.

Oxford United have not commented and there no confirmation that the deal has stalled for medical reasons.
