Wycombe Wanderers have re-signed Jon-Paul Pittman on a 12-month deal, two years after he left the club, following his release by Oxford.

The 26-year-old forward moved to the U's in 2011, but only started eight league games for the club.

He first signed for Wycombe in 2009 and made 82 appearances, scoring 17 goals.

"Having known him from his last time here, he's a great character but more importantly he brings a lot to the team," said boss Gareth Ainsworth.

"He's still got his best years ahead of him and I'm convinced he can flourish with us.

"He gives us another attacking option. He's got pace, power and he's exciting to watch, plus he's a fans' favourite."
