Liam Trotter: Millwall midfielder has knee surgery

Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter is set to miss the start of the season after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.
The 24-year-old, who scored six goals in 42 appearances for the Lions last season, had an operation on Wednesday.
A club statement said Trotter will "begin his rehabilitation with a view to returning to full training in the early part of the season".
Meanwhile Millwall have completed the signing of winger Lee Martin following the completion of a medical.
The 26-year-old former Ipswich Town player has signed a one-year deal with the south London club.
