Derry City have been drawn to play holders Drogheda United in the semi-finals of the EA Sports Cup.

The match will be staged at Derry's Brandywell stadium but a date has yet to be arranged.

In the other semi-final, Premier Division champions Sligo Rovers will be away to either Shamrock Rovers or league leaders St Patrick's Atheltic.

Derry reached the semi-finals by beating Bohemians 2-0, Michael Duffy getting both goals late in the match.

Beaten 1-0 by Dundalk last Friday, City are away to Shamrock Rovers in the league on 12 July.

Declan Devine's Candystripes are second in the league table, three points behind St Pat's.
