Mark Duffy: Doncaster Rovers sign Scunthorpe midfielder

Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Scunthorpe midfielder Mark Duffy for an undisclosed fee.

The newly promoted Championship club had two offers for the 27-year-old rejected but the Iron accepted an improved third bid from Rovers.

Duffy, who has agreed a three-year contract, played 47 times for relegated Scunthorpe last season.

Doncaster also confirmed on Twitter, external that they expect to sign Oldham defender Jean-Yves M'voto this week.

The French centre-back's contract with the Latics expired at the end of the season and, if the move goes through, he will be reunited with Rovers boss Paul Dickov at the Keepmoat Stadium.
