Hull City want Danny Graham and Nicklas Bendtner

Hull City are hopeful of agreeing a season-long loan deal for Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

Graham, 27, has struggled at the Stadium of Light, failing to score in 13 matches since joining in January.

"He's a very good player who hasn't had the best of times. It's something we're looking at," Hull boss Steve Bruce told BBC Radio Humberside.

Bruce also confirmed the club are interested in Arsenal's Denmark international striker Nicklas Bendtner.

Bendtner, 25, who spent last season on loan with Serie A winners Juventus, has previously played under Bruce for both Birmingham City and Sunderland.

"I've had Nicklas twice and he's a good player but he's on a lot of money at Arsenal," said Bruce.

"I can't see us being able to get anywhere near that with salary levels, but we'll keep trying and he's another player we're looking at."

Bruce has made signing a striker a priority and recently missed out on Burnley striker Charlie Austin after the player failed a medical.

"We've got to be patient, because the big clubs haven't made moves yet," Bruce explained.

"We're vitally aware that scoring was our Achilles heel last year, but the right players haven't become available just yet.

"We're hopeful that when they do become available we can act."
