Lincoln City: Grant Brown to be named assistant boss

Lincoln City are expected to confirm Grant Brown as assistant manager to Gary Simpson.

Brown, 43, has had three spells in caretaker charge of the Imps and was named as part of the backroom coaching team when Simpson took over at the Conference Premier club in February.

Meanwhile, Damian Froggatt has been appointed as the head of the youth academy at Sincil Bank.

Froggatt has worked in various roles at the club.
