Ten-man AFC Telford suffered their first defeat since relegation last season as this term's unbeaten run in Conference North came to an end.

Craig Nelthorpe's second-half strike settled the outcome at the Bucks Head.

He lashed home on 54 minutes after Chris Hall's effort from the edge of the box had rebounded off the post.

But Telford were always up against it from the 38th minute onwards following Russell Benjamin's straight red card for his challenge on Ashley Worsfield.

A first defeat for new boss Liam Watson in his sixth game in charge sees Telford drop five places to ninth in the table.

Telford return to action next Saturday with a trip to Bradford Park Avenue (kick-off 15:00 BST).
