Dagenham & Redbridge 1-2 Cheltenham Town

Jamie Cureton's 250th career goal helped Cheltenham to their third league win of the season at Dagenham.

The 38-year-old put the Robins ahead in the first half with a looping 25-yard effort.

Abu Ogogo levelled soon after, side-footing home after Rhys Murphy's initial effort had been beaten away by Cheltenham goalkeeper Scott Brown.

Defender Keith Lowe then met a neat Troy Brown cross after the break to head home the winner for the visitors.

Murphy, Ogogo and Zavon Hines all went close late on for Dagenham but the hosts failed to find an equaliser.

"I'm proud of the work that the players have put in at a tough place to come.

"I think we've worked hard in every game but sometimes it's been channelled in not quite the right areas, so the focus was on hard work, doing it for your team mates and they've done themselves proud today.

"We had to come and ruffle their feathers, try and get in their faces. We did it but it also allowed us to have an extra pass.

"It was a good solid team performance and we can now build on it for the coming games ahead."
