Truro City exit Southern League Cup on penalties

Truro City suffered their second Cup defeat in the space of four days as they were knocked out of the Southern League Cup on penalties on Tuesday.

The White Tigers drew 3-3 with Bridgwater, having held the lead three times during the match.

Striker Liam Eddy scored twice, with the other goal coming from Olly Brokenshire, but Truro went on to lose 6-5 on penalties.

On Saturday, Truro were knocked out of the FA Trophy by Tiverton Town.
